The service from the owner couldn't have been better - they catered to our every request. The check-in and check-out was very easy and very fast. We were very secure in this gated community. The home is incredible - beautifully furnished and yet very practical with all the comforts of home including satellite TV and wireless internet DSL. The kitchen has everything available for the experienced chef. The nearby beach was great and the local amenities and restaurants were very good. The private pool & hot tub are perfect as well. Six of us (ages 23-32) ventured down to San Felipe for our first time from San Diego over New Year's Eve weekend. We had no idea what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised. The house was beautiful, with more than enough room for 6...(could definitely sleep 8 or more). Great kitchen for entertaining, cooking, playing board games, etc. The pools, tennis courts, golf course, etc. are all in great condition and free or extremely cheap to use (golf)....definitely bring your clubs, racquets, board games, etc. The beach is beautiful and provides lots of entertainment with collecting shells and clamming. We went clamming for about an hour and a half and caught well over 400 clams using our toes. The house comes with a great patio and grill which we used to cook the clams. Town is very quaint and full of great shopping and bars. You can also rent ATV's for really cheap there to explore town. If you do eat out, food is extremely cheap..the Latin Garden was delicious!! The restaurants in the resort complex are also delicious and very inexpensive. Everyone we encountered in town and in the resort couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I felt safe the entire time we were there. The drive down was very easy and it is nearly impossible to get lost.   tschwab  San Diego,CA
